Ozone: Safe for wastewater systems

Copy of 170000531

Ozonated water is environmentally friendly and safe for wastewater systems. There are no harmful residuals that need to be counterbalanced, such as the need for added alkaline with PAA, because ozone decomposes rapidly. Ozone can also reduce odors in processing areas such as; offall, kill and picking in poultry facilities.

TriStrata ozone systems utilize oxygen molecules from the air (O2) and pass them through a corona field, splitting them into single atoms of oxygen (O1). These atoms combine with an O2 molecule to form a molecule of O3, ozone. Ozone is safe for wastewater systems as ozone quickly turns back into oxygen, leaving no harmful byproducts or residuals.
