Properly used, ozone is compatible with most materials commonly found in food & beverage processing facilities.
Ozone starts as oxygen and rapidly converts back into oxygen, shortening the residual contact time, therefore contributing to its compatibility for most hard surfaces.
Ozone infused water can be used on wettable surfaces including: floors, walls, belts and in drains, tanks and drenched equipment.
Ozone gas can be used to disinfect and sanitize storage, processing and packing rooms and is compatible with all surface materials listed below.

*Nylon is not compatible with ozone
**Natural latex rubber, Buna-N, and other butadiene rubber are not suitable for use with aqueous ozone.
Mild Steel will experience surface rusting similar to plain water exposure.
Some paints may become spotted.
